Video Production

[Silenthunter]

Well i was just wondering if there was a program for windows thats free, to take a video of your desktop. Or if there is a built in way to take video, sort of like print screen. I also don't mind if it would be something you download, it doesn't need to be some professional software. I would also like to acquire it legally, and hopefully not just a demo or trial version. I just need it to take a simple .mp3 type file of my desktop.

Thanks in advance

Fraps should work for you.

Fraps is for in-game, not the desktop.

Correct me if im wrong but isnt MP3 a music file?

BTW fraps has a free demo that only records for 30 seconds plus adds a 'www.fraps.com' logo on the video.

Whatever Beta, i meant that it doesn't need to be HD Blu-Ray quality. So there is no program thats out there for free just to take videos of the desktop? I know about Fraps i don't feel like buying it.

Any comments or reviews, because it seems pretty simple, just hit record and you can record your desktop into an .avi file.
