Do you actually believe that the games in the top sellers list are really the top sellers? That list is just another advertising ploy. You see a game on that list and think "wow everyone is playing this game, it must be really good, maybe I should buy it". I GUARANTEE that MW2 isn't selling as well as Steam is making it out to seem.
I think im gonna buy it from steam next week just for the sake of the single player

This is exactly what everyone "boycotting" will be doing. You guys are angry but it wont stop you from buying the game. Im not a fan of COD at all but all this talk has just made me skeptical. Anyways even though your gonna get i for single player you know youll play multilayer. On top of that, the producers of this game do not care because they know it is a top seller and people "boycotting" will soon change their minds. Lets stop all this talk already guys.
I guess I'm part of that minority then. I'm boycotting, I'm mad as heck and I will not be buying the game. It won't be one of those games that's just a singleplayer. Those games are usually awesome and totally worth $60. This game won't be that great. I don't care what any of the hype says. As great as those other games are, they can't hold my attention forever. You can't possible think that the singleplayer is going to be so good that you'll want to play it through more than 3 or 4 times.
I used to be a diehard CoD fan. Over the years, I've slowly gone away, just because of what it's turned into. After this, I feel betrayed by Infinity Ward. I can honestly say, my fanboymanship for Call of Duty is dying. IW and Activision will not be getting any of my money. I may buy this game when the price drops, but until then, I'm keeping my money.
MW2 Is fully integrated into steam, so that would be yes.As of right now, the petition has 145227 signatures. Even if everyone who signed that petition boycotted the game(which they won't), that is still a very small minority. The Steam seller list is accurate.
On a lighter note, does anyone yet know if MW2 retail is going to have Steamworks support? By that I mean will you be able to register it on Steam if you buy retail(Like Dawn of War 2). They did mention that MW2 would have lots of Steam support...
Wow, $59.99 for a PC game? No friggin' way.
