Dual Monitor Problem

I'm using a 9600 Gt to run to monitors the problem is everytime i click on something on the right monitor whatever is going on the left minimizes. Any way to fix this?

Have you looked around Nvidia control panel for options related to this? First place i would start. Play around with it a bit if you have not already, im sure it will cure.

If you click on something on the left monitor, does the right monitor minimize?

is what's in the left monitor a "full screen" app/video ect (like TF2 or a full screen setting from hulu). If so then this would be the problem; there is no way to run a "full screen" instance of something and still use the other monitor, as even though you have 2 monitors you have 1 screen

The most common fix for this is to run the "full screen" app/video in windowed mode and then just make the window the full size of the monitor, this allows you to use both monitors simultaneously while still seeming like you have a full screen app/video going. Unfortunately this does cost you some in FPS, give it a go and see if what you get is manageable to you.
