!!!! Cannot download map... Need help.!!!!!

I need help with my steam... I tried to download Dust2_10r but it says Missing map... And i don't know how i should fix it... :facewall: Please help?

try verifying in game files and defragging them. You do this by right clicking on INS in your Games tab and selecting properties and i then local files. If that fails. Reinstall INS.

Sounds like it already tried to download, but for whatever reason did not finish or was corrupted. I would suggest the reinstall the clear the folder and try the download again. But I'm also not a super-techie-genius anymore. I still like my Windows 98 format...

My friend just had this problem, he had to manually install the files outside of INS. For whatever reason the download from the server didn't work.

Yes so deleting the map files for that map will have you redownload it from the server.
