They are always updating CS:S, just not noticeable updates. Most of the recent updates involve patches for server exploitations and etc. The most recent 'big' update I could thing of was when the text changed into where you could actually scroll up and down as well as copy it. This happened over a year ago.. heh.
 
Their updates are never big anymore. The best trick someone has ever pulled on me is that they told me they were making a CS:S 2... i was so sad when i found out its a lie
 
I hope they don't waste their precious development time ever updating CS:S. They have already wasted a year on Left 4 Dead 2.

- Added 3 new weapons: Tactical Nuke launcher, BFG9000, and Plasma Rifle.
- The three new weapons listed above are fully automatic and deal 9000 damage to the player and have no spread. They also have unlimited ammo and do not have to reload.
 
- Added new weapon: RAGE RIFLE : automatically VAC ban the player, uninstall their game, smash their disks and permanently put their name as ragequitter.
