Steam web brower and eGO

I cant log into the website via the steam web browser. It has worked before but wont now. Any suggestions/tips?

In my expirence:

If I am logged into the site before I launch a game then it will not let me re-log-in while in game.

Remember, steam and subsequently its in-game-browser run on IE8. So, this browser does a pretty bad job at remembering log-in information. I would go as far as to say (and hope) that you don't use IE as this would not be a problem.

so, the soloution:

Is simple, log out of the site before you launch a game. Then log it once the game launches (once your in server for a MP game)

ya i use firefox but still have IE8 on my pc cause i dont know how to get rid of it. i tried doing it like this....go to post reply and log in that way and it seemed to work.

Just like your name, the in game steam web browser is an epic fail. If I need to use the web while gaming, I just alt-tab out

i cant on my laptop. if i alt+tab it crashes. Dont like playing in a window.
