When the update drops, no clue. But I'll bet large amounts of money that (assuming no mini-update for christmas) it'll be a class update for engy. Remember the Guard Dog update in the TF2 blog? A gun-mounted item retriever? Seems like the only person that truly cares about ammo packs, enough to make it an additional item, is engy.

I just want some demoman achievements, and perhaps an update to his animations and weapon layout. Seems a bit silly to have a pipe bomb launcher that has 6 chambers and only load 4 at a time, not to mention that all 4 pipe bombs are loaded into the same single chamber. Seems equally silly for the demoman to drink out of a broke bottle. Way to fail Valve. heh

never gonna happen, and it shouldnt.

not only would that render disguising completely ineffective, but theyd have to update the spy again and give him a laser gun style sapper so he could hit it from a distance, which in itself would be terrible cuz then Dingo could camp and never worry about dying via an engie's wrench.
