Cooler Master HAF 922

Yea lol our HAF 932 cases are like dust magnets..........idk my GPU cooler gets mad dust in the HSF fins and stuff its kinda annoying, there isn't much dust inside my case in general but like my aftermarket coolers collect dust pretty badly sometimes if i don't clean it.

Yea the Noctua NH-D14 is currently like the best CPU air cooler on the market but its also like $70-90 so way more expensive.....

ill look sometime for you but im busy right now

Yeah, all intake fans collect dust though. At least our cases collect it on the outside mesh so it's easy to wipe away.. There's almost no dust inside the case, which is pretty good. On my old case the dust would collect on the cpu heatsink and that was a pain in the rear to get off..

No kidding, my (Cooler Master) cosmos s is a giant filter lol, it keeps everything cool but i have to clean all of the fans and panels every month or month in a half. ;)
As for cpu coolers i have a zalman 9900 and it works extremely well and keeps my cpu anywhere from 35-40c most of the time, which is pretty good for air cooling, i think. (right?)

is the Haf 922 pretty quiet?

yes, the HAF series in general is quiet...they have large fans so they spin at lower revolutions than smaller fans which makes them quieter but push about the same amount of air....a lot of small fans give you best airflow but sound a lot louder.

i just bought the HAF 922 series case and its quiet but instead on the side panel 200mm fan i have 2 120mm and its not loud but just a little but can stand it lol its a amazing case

Those are good temps for air cooling, whether or not the heatsink/fan are any good really depends on what cpu you are using.. Some cpu's are notorious for running hot

I have a HAF 922 as well. If you want to put anymore fans in on the side panel, make sure that you have the screws for it, I had to rifle through my tool box to find ones that fit. Also, it doesn't come with a system warning speaker, so you'll need to buy one separately.

when i got it, it did come with a system warning speaker. even tho i had one i used the one that came with the case :P

as, you all know i recently purchased the Cooler Master HAF 922 and it is truly a dust magnet Ive only had it for at least 4 days and ive already got dust on front fan and side panel fans lol

Sorry about the lighting of these pic but this is the inside of my HAF 922

Yup HAF series are excellent cases. I have the HAF 932 so i have the bigger full-tower and its amazing. Pretty much has the best airflow of its class but yea, on the HAF 922, you might wanna pick up 2x120mm fans for the side panel and you will get the same airflow as the HAF 932.

i just bought 2 120mm Cooler Master red LED fans for side panel i do have 2 in it but i want the red led 1's :P so i got them from new egg for 7.99 each. plus shipping il have them tomorrow.

right now i have 2 yate loon fans in it with no led's they work but i want lights!!!!!!!!!:facewall:

Here are my temps, with speed fan. I have more fans but they are not hooked up to my mobo. there connected to molex connectors to the power supply cause i don't have but 3 fan connectors for fans 2 case fans and 1 cpu and i have a total of 5 fans in my case.
