Valve is giving us hints

Well looking back at this hidden page, I started noticing some interesting patterns. I seriously believe Valve is giving us "hints" on the new weapon updates. Most of you probably knew this already but I'm a slow learner! :P

1) look at the mann co. commemorative plates Out of the 4 plates shows a claymore sword the demoman received recently. On this they call it the "GIANT SWORD" Claymores are known for their huge size.

2)LARATE the "SUPER FAST KARATE" Possibly the chargin targe? This new weapon will give the demoman lightning fast movement. Possibly another hint Valve gave us?

3) WITH THIS ROCKET LAUNCHER The new rocket launcher for the Soldier which was released today. Maybe another hint?


Now all that is left is the "Scare her into loving you", "The monkey", "Take the life of Fred Astaire" and " Are you man enough to own Florida?" Something in those categories is giving a hint to the next new weapon update.
The rest of these "slots" on the page add up to the amount of weapons left. Not including the winning class's weapon.

I may be over looking this but 3 coincidences in a row? Come on...

Anyone want to guess what is coming next?

Hopefully the soldier wont be throwing his feces as a new melee... :P

The monkey worries me.
 
hmm.... i think the soldier might get a trumpet for a weapon....

maybe give a mini crit boost of those near him???

gives a buff of speed or hp or atk?


with a trumpet, the power of music is undefeatable...
(engy will get the pickaxe f'sho)
 
If the soldier gets the trumpet I will switch from a full time demo to soldier. trumpets + games = priceless
 
LOL.... i can imagine goldrush... (how appropriate would that be in honor of the 49'ers)

5 soldiers sound the call while walking with seperate groups of allies... giving a boost of whatever is given....

the power of music will rule the day!!!!!!!

btw, i think if the engy gets the pickaxe, it may allow the engy to "pick" at the ground for "metal".... kinda in reference to mining in games (runescape, WoW, etc)
 
Map points to Poland it looks like to me, or Penudemunde (spell?) where Werner Von Braun developed and tested the V-1 and V-2's.

No, the sword on that page says AMERICAN STEEL, the demomans sword is made with pattern-welded Damascus steel. Larate is described as your arms, legs, and head will be super weapons. Not a shield that charges.

Therefore, Soldier becomes the NEW JARATE MASTER. Take that you Australian fakes!
 
they're 'hints" tom, not direct references

The soldier might get the Bugle, plays a quick reveille and he gets a temporary speed boost for charging the enemy, a la Bonk drink.

I'm glad beaver already pointed this out. :)

I'm not saying valve is giving us a crystal ball of whats to come word for word on this page. All I'm saying is things are matching.


I think the reason the map of Germany is on the wall is because he wanted to fght in WW2.
In meet the soldier video his biograpy says this...
"Though he wanted desperately to fight in World War 2, the Soldier was rejected from every branch of the U.S. military. Undaunted, he bought his own ticket to Europe. After arriving and finally locating Poland, the Soldier taught himself how to load and fire a variety of weapons before embarking on a Nazi killing spree for which he was awarded several medals that he designed and made himself. His rampage ended immediately upon hearing about the end of the war in 1949"
 
in the soldier pic....100 cans, american dans? something like that...100 cans of??

ITS A HINT

If he gets a Bonk type of thing i will honestly QUIT lol but still what could these cans be? Demo repellent?
 
I highly doubt the soup cans are an update for any class in TF2. All the hints Valve gave us is on the hidden page(s).
 
If he gets soup that has a speed increase or a health boost such as the sandvich ill be upset but something tells me its highly likely..

lol i bet we all remember making that are you kidding me face when we saw the sandvich...lol

Last time I checked there was crafting, unlockable weapons, and hats

The game is void of the things that make an RPG, an RPG
1) a story line (the twin rivalry comic does not count)
2) quests
3) leveling
4) long-term grinding
