Yeah I hear that. It's 2:12 AM here as well. I have bad insomnia too. Really messes up my sleep schedule.

and the anxiety for Christmas isn't helping, I have to be up at 7.
I was just thinking the same thing. What with it being Christmas tomorrow and all the computer maintenance I'm going to have to perform running through my head I can even manage to get a wink of sleep. I just sit here and run over everything in my head multiple times. Haha. Perhaps I need medication lol.

Haha maybe. But I'm ordering all of my stuff probably tomorrow, as I'm getting the money today, and have to put it in the bank so I can spend it online.
That's exactly what I'm doing! Haha. I'm wondering if Bank of America will accept my ATM Deposit same day or if I will have to wait until after Christmas to order my things due to the fact that if I order them and my money doesn't get processed then I am boned. What are your thoughts? I'm trying to find the HT Link info now as well.

Haha I have no idea, I just give the money to my Dad (I'm 17, by the way) and he does the rest and tells me when I can spend it.

Hah yeah. Here I believe I found the HT Link info you were asking for.
I believe it is: HT3.0(5200MHz)
but this is what it says under my motherboard specs:
(Note) If you install AMD AM2+ CPU on AM2 motherbord, the system bus speed will downgrade from HT3.0(5200MHz) to HT1.0(2000 MT/s) spec; however, the frequency of AM2+ CPU will not be impacted. Please refer "CPU Support List" for more information.
Since the socket of my mobo is AM2 and the processor I am sing is the AMD 64 X2 4000+ does that mean my mobo downgrades to HT1.0? I hope not. You can check on the first page under my parts list for my CPU socket, but I believe it is AM2.

alrite ill continue the trend of telling u my experiences.......
im running an intel core 2 Q6600 so no AMD here
I have got this running 3.6ghz with about 1.4v and the max load temp is around 60 C so its all good
I can have this running higher but temps are my biggest problem, i would need a better HSF to keep this thing cool at like 3.8-4.0ghz
My ram is running Oc'd to about 1066mhz its less than that tho i believe but still good

phenom ii x2 550 BE running at 18.5x200.9 for 3717.3mhz. my HT link is only at 1005 mhz because my mobo is severely downclocking it but once i get my am3 board in a week or so i'll be full out.
i tried raising the bus speed however i was unable to because of other limitations like my mobo and ram - again once i get my new am3/ddr3 board/ram i'll be trying to get this puppy as high as possible with a higher bus speed.
otherwise right now i have my 5850 running at 850/1150 core/memory at only 1.15v. its pretty cool still by capping around 60c while gaming with like 40-45% fan speed. i could raise the volts to 1.25 and probably get 920-950 core with better memory however it is pretty unbelievable how loud this fan is past 50%, and i currently don't need it with any games i have, so im not going to do that.

i pumped it up to 1.25v (the highest i dare) and i can run at 1000 core clock and 1250 memory, stable. when i run furmark for stability i do not get any artifacts or crashing regardless of how long i run it. also the full heat test gets a max of 78c, however the max gaming temp i've received thus far has been around 65c with the fan getting to a max of 60ish % which isn't too bad with the headphones on

All of my fans are on max, and I can't hear them because I have headphones in
lol i have 7 case fans (then 1 cpu 1 gpu 1 psu fan) and all but the gpu run at 100%. my comp has a sweet hum from the 19db 90cfm case fans.
however the 5850 fan is SOOO loud at 100%, like seriously you don't understand until you hear it. there are no headphones in the world that will fully block out the sound of that thing =P

I'm fairly certain my headphones would, they can block out any noise, no matter how loud it is.
