No idea what Aux means; I googled it quickly and it doesn't seem important.

I got my new Corsair PSU installed. Posted right away, no problems at all. It even came with a nifty case sticker, similar to the i7 one I got.

Now I just need my 260, then it's o'clockin time boys.

Nice. I think the AUX might be my power supply because the air coming out of the back of the psu is kinda hot compared to the rest of my comp. I also just ordered a new PSU today too. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817339025
It has a fan on the inside of the case and one on the outside so it might help exhaust air some. Is this a good CPU for the money? I didn't have much to spend and i needed a new one.

Oh and I re arranged some fans in my case and now my system is at 28C and my cpu is at 38C overclocked from 2.3 to 2.7GHz.

For me, my Corsair only had one fan, so I had it blowing into my case; since my case has great airflow, it'd just take that air away. As opposed to it blowing out of the bottom of my case, where it has no where to go.

As for that power supply, I've never heard of that brand. I think I learned my lesson about open box / not name brand products from this build. Three RMA's, possibly a fourth if my video card was actually bad.

interesting. i was able to unlock the other 2 cores on my phenom ii x2 550 but now i can't overclock as high. it could be a heat issue i guess tho, since i can't directly monitor that since the thermal sensors go on the fritz if you unlock the cores.
i dunno maybe i'll pucker up and buy a cpu cooler that can fit in my case, see what i can do then but right now its pretty stuck at 3.5ghz quad core instead of the 3.7ghz dual

How were you able to unlock your 3rd and 4th core? Ive been wanting to unlock my tri core processor and turn it into a quad but i cant find a way to.

it all depends on the motherboard, and your luck. and even if you can unlock them they may not be stable. but all i did was go into my bios, find the ACC feature and enable it, set it to auto. then for the unleashing i enabled it (set to hybrid if you can) and that was pretty much it. save/exit and upon boot up i was running all 4. i haven't stressed out the cores for too long, but ran prime95 for about an hour thus far with no problems. tomorrow while im at work i'll run it all day long
