Using the Awp

Awp is one of the greatest weapon, and one of the easiest weapon to use.

Use your head when awping, don't go hard with it.

i'm not saying the awp doesn't take skill... i'm just sayin i feel dirty buying it on an eGO server. i mean... the only other map that eGO has where there are awps causes you to die if you go for them, lol

after playing inferno as my "home" map beside train for sum years and several scrims
i can say that the AWP is only good on 2 spots
for CT to check middle
and for T to check banana (if you dont call it banana in english, its the curved way on the left side of the map, idk if its the way to A..or was it B?hmmmm)
oh man..id love to play sum CS:S with you guys but cs:s as a european on us servers...

I don't think you should feel dirty lol...it's part of the game, and in order to use the awp effectively, it requires a tremendous amount of skill. You can easily get a kill with it...but you can also get killed just as easily going against a skilled rifler. If the player using the rifle is good at prefiring corners and hitting his shots, rifle > awp, because once the bullets hit the awper, the scope goes unstable and jumps around and once that happens..by the time you adjust, you are dead.

I got to admit the AWP is pretty meaty It feels good when you get a kill with it, but on the other hand i feels WAY more better with the scout XD. But if your me and no good at sniping i prefer the AWP. Cause all i got to do with that is actually hit the target .

even though the awp kills anything when it is pointed in the general direction of the enemy.. im still awful with it and cannot hit anything (same with the scout) and i seem to always get killed by it lol.. *sigh* never had much practice though because before i joined i always played on the eGO severs where the awp was banned

you know, everyone has their own feelings on the awp.

Personally i dont see anything wrong with using it.
However, if my team is dominating the other pretty hardcore and im awping, i usually switch to scout or another gun.

Its just a personal preference...

There's nothing wrong with the awp. If my enemies are dumb enough to run into my crosshairs they share the same fate as everyone else, the wrath of Beta >
