Admins...

I've always respected how the servers have been ran, I appreciate how the rules are enforced and most of the time it makes the eGO servers a nice place to play, however, the admins are a bit power hungry and it's becoming a problem.

I see admins kicking and even banning without warning for minor offences such as mild swearing and door blocking.

I was just kicked from the jail server for calling an admin an idiot because said admin door blocked me for a good 30 seconds or so. I could sort of accept that, maybe I shouldn't have called him an idiot, but I was then banned after accepting his apology. I was banned because an admin broke the rules and I called him out on it, if that's not hypocrisy, I don't know what is.

Sort it out, eGO. You have a decent reputation to maintain.

As an e of the clan, you are held to higher standards then a pub player. When you signed up, you agreed to the rules and should know them MUCH better then a pub player. e's do not receive a warning due to above. You also should know better not to disrespect admins.

First) You have to respect the admins... period.
Second) If an admin is abusive Put it in the drop box..
Third) Never ever try to call out an admin in/on the sever. You will get an instant kick for that period. (calling any admin an idiot Is just dumb I mean really man... might want to think that out for a second.)
Now if you are banned please post a ban contest.. not in the division discussion.

No, I wasn't expecting a warning, I understand the rules. My point is he apologized and kicked me anyway, which is somewhat idiotic. I don't think it's fair for me to be kicked for disrespect when not only is the admin disrespecting the rules, he's disrespecting a fellow e member.

Dude, a main rule is to respect admin cause i know a reason for a kick is admin disrespect. No matter what, DO NOT disrespect admins at all. Also, put this in the drop box or something cause again, a 100% chance this will lock.

I agree with that rule, however I believe it should work both ways, and admins should respect e members by not breaking rules to make their time on the server less enjoyable.

If someone is blocking me lets say a non admin and I call him an idiot nothing will happen because everyone will see he was in the wrong. However when you call an admin an idiot regardless of they were in the wrong or not they will kick you because I can guarantee the admin saw it and the admin will kick you.

Indeed. I've admitted I was wrong for disrespecting the admin, I just thought he and others would understand my frustration given the fact he broke the rules he's supposed to be enforcing.

I was not aware that being an admin exempt them from the rules.

If you are having problems with a specific admin, PM an advisor about it, and we can discuss it. Otherwise please follow all the appointed rules and as an e you are held to a higher standard than pubs.
