Pro Tip: You can kill a solider with the Defebs/smoke grenade attachment/drill
You can also kill an enemy vehicle with the drill too.
I have yet to kill someone with the vehicle tracing dart but time will tell(have hit people with it in the head but no dice. Must be a guy at like 1hp to do it I guess)

The overlay was fixed with the patch.

I wish I didn't suck :( But I suppose I suck at all FPS' :( Or I'm just REALLY unlucky lol, but I still have fun. Keeping my Pre-Order. I hope they increase bullet damage a little though, takes nearly my entire clip someone. I don't know if I'm lagging or not because ping isn't shown :(.
 
I think one complaint is how hard it is to see people while driving the T-90 in the snow... Seems hard to pick people out when the video is black and white and its snowy... Be nice to have some thermal view or something...

It takes almost a whole clip with me, mostly because of the lag (which has been getting better). Just remember, always fire in bursts when you're medium-long range.
 
Well keep in mind there will be a Hardcore mode with increased damage, no hud ect once the game launches.
 
I wish there was some way to turn down the bloom, sometimes i can't see anything because it's so bright >_<

And is anyone else not getting the performance they expected? I thought I'd be able to play on high (Running with a HD4850, 4 gigs ram, Q6600) yet I can't play on high with smooth frames. Right now I'm playing with a mix between medium/high settings and sometimes my frames will drop a bit, but the game still looks good.
 
Lots of people with a 4850 and q6600 are having some trouble too.

When it does release you shouldn't have any problems. (optimizing)

as for me, everything runs fine on High, but like you said the Bloom effect does make it hard to see sometimes.
 
So ATI users are having issues. I knew my 4850 wasn't the issue. Its their coding.

I'll wait for a patch.

I tried driving it, and it'll take some time getting used to.

First time I crashed in the ocean.
 
Something to try for those of you who don't like the bloom:

Go to your 'Documents' folder (location varies depending on OS).
There is a folder called 'BFBC2Beta". Open the file 'settings.txt' and change:

Bloom=true to Bloom=false
 
after beta, all you keep is your name
and limited edtion ppl, get their coolio extra items, or was it just the preorder-peeps
