good pc, switch out the vid card, and try to find better fsb. however, i have never really disagreed with nything green monkey has sed in tech forums. his knowledge/advice is solid.

To put this specific topic to rest, the computer above AS configured requires only a 375Watt PSU running under 100% load all day long. I will post a link in the other forums to one calculator however, a google search will result in many.
i have a 600w in my system but i only need a 450 or so but it heats my house so it works out in the long run and im not paying the bills so right now could care less
more watts wont kill but a 1000w for a 450w system now thats just plain over kill
You never need more than 700 watts unless you're going SLI.
You can't 'future-proof' your system. New hardware is constantly coming out so you can buy some ub3r 1337 system and it will be obsolete in like a year.
