Good computeR?

good pc, switch out the vid card, and try to find better fsb. however, i have never really disagreed with nything green monkey has sed in tech forums. his knowledge/advice is solid.

Ok, Wayward please see my post in tech talk about power supplies.

To put this specific topic to rest, the computer above AS configured requires only a 375Watt PSU running under 100% load all day long. I will post a link in the other forums to one calculator however, a google search will result in many.

i have a 600w in my system but i only need a 450 or so but it heats my house so it works out in the long run and im not paying the bills so right now could care less :P
more watts wont kill but a 1000w for a 450w system now thats just plain over kill

You never need more than 700 watts unless you're going SLI.

You can't 'future-proof' your system. New hardware is constantly coming out so you can buy some ub3r 1337 system and it will be obsolete in like a year.

exactly
a new computer is like a new car, drive it off the lot and bam lost 1/3 of its value, with a computer have it for a month it looses bout half or more of its value
