alright ive beeen having these wierd pains in my right arm (my mouse arm). And i wanted 2 know if theire was anyone that maybe knew about this or has experienced anything similar. The pain started a couple of weeks ago. And its always in my elbow region i get pains when i try 2 strech my arm or even if try 2 put my finger on my chin sometimes it even hurts when i let my arm hang freely. Ive heard that it could be something called a mouse injury due 2 the many hours of gaming. I wanted u guys opinions because i would hear if it might be something that just would pass away because i wont go 2 the doctor if its just something that could pass away. Thanks 4 the help !lol

Yeah dude see an orthorpedic doctor, prolonged typing can cause carpal tunnel like symptoms. I would also suggest you gut you computer use in half.

Yup, Easy, that's sounds like you have to go to a doctor for sure, my friend.

I had those pains in my arm and wrist too. But i've been to a doctor who told me i had to use a different chair and different mousepad. Which i did and the problems are gone now :)

i think it would be a good idea to go to the doctor's and not to be on the computer as much, it's good to take break's off the computer.

That sounds like Tennis Elbow, go see a doctor, take Ibuprofene if you can.

its due to prolonged use of ur comp(mouse in particular)
i had a similar problem and was adviced to reduce my comp time by the doc

As previously said I would just go for it. You have nothing to lose. I would also look into those arm braces that they have for gamers. I think steelseries and a couple other companies have like gaming braces that put extra support on your wrists etc.

Oh i forgot to mention and this is VERY VERY important the effect your feeling is cumulative, as is the longer it goes untreated the more dmg it will do, so get treated quickly.

well it wouldnt hurt to go to the dr. just in case (except the bill i guess)

When you try to massage the spot, does it feel like it's in between the joints?

I have to ask you a few questions on this subject:

1.) Have you in any way caused any blunt trauma to the elbow?

2.) Is the elbow swollen or bruised?

3.) Do you engage in physical activity frequently?

From what you described, you may have a bad case of Tennis Arm. My suggestion is to take an aspirin, keep it straight and stiff, and apply ice where it hurts. I don't know if the pain is in the muscle or bone, though. If the pain is longer than three weeks tops, go see a doctor.
