We want the Carbine Back!!!

Hi, I am Gen. Martok. I just joined today. I would probably joined earlier, but I dislike the fact that the Bazooka does not get the Carbine. I tend to play MG on Kalt, but on most other maps I tend to play Bazooka. (I think of the rockets as photon torpedos. LOL) me the butcher said that I can start a petition to get the Carbine re-instated. I understand that it was banned because people would just dump the Bazooka and pick up another gun. However, that would not be me. I suspect that others would use the Bazooka as well. Please everyone who wants the carbine rightfully put back in the hands of the bazooka users, sign this petition. Let our voices be heard amoungst the brass. Long Live the Carbine!

In all fairness it has effectively killed the rocket class on that server. The pistol just isn't an effective way to protect yourself when not rocketing. This argument is as old as the kalt server and I can't see the rule changing anytime soon.

I do understand why they took it out no matter how unfair it may seem. People would get the rocket just to have the carbine or the angry pistol. They would drop the rocket before firing a shot and pick up a different gun for their primary weapon. This isn't very fair for people who want to actually use the rocket.

Yea as stated before i think that some maps have it enabled and some dont. cause there are times where i can use it and times i can not.

I'm not sure, but I think it's because the pistol mod took away the rocket secondaries. I'm not sure if we can change it, without taking away the pistols from all the classes. Personally, I'd rather have the carbine instead of getting a pistol with support or rifleman.

Ya the M1 Carbine is a good weapon that the rocket man has been missing on the 24/7 =(eGO)= server. There are few peeps that are exceptional just at the rock itself but when it comes down to it the M1 would definitely help out the class. If we are worried about players abusing the rifle/auto guns instead of using the class as it was designed then we can just place restrictions on the class (since you cannot drop the carbine). Some times it just feels good to pull out the carbine and blow someones head off.............................................................AAAWWWWWWWWW


sry im better now. The carbine is easier to use then the m1 garand (my opinion).


I am for giving back the M1 Carbine to the rocket man.

well Id have to agree, with all this, but you play on donner, the bazooka does have carbine, but at the same time, playing on kalt, its SUPER sweet to have a pistol, with your rifle, makes some stick situations better. so id hate to get ride of the pistol mod, but i do see the point of rocket lovers, there any way to have all 3 for rocket?

Guys, the Carbine isn't gone, its just hidden, I think if you press like 4 or something you get it. I forget. But that happens on strand, and we have it there.

yea on strand you go to 1 then scroll down if you have a mouse scroll and there it is

I never have a problem getting it... Granted I wish the Carbine had its own class or at least give the zooker more ammo. I run out of zooks and I got mad with that thing and then I am out of ammo. In 1.3 it was my number 1 class.

For Kalt it has been disabled. The pistol mod has nothing to do with it.

The m1 carbine being a good gun is the reason that it was taken away. You are not supposed to be a rocket man just for the secondary weapon, but to use your rockets.

Back to the Topic. This is the first I've heard of there actually being no carbine or auto-pistol on Kalt. Always thought there was. Maybe we could have some messages saying "Do you want the Carbine/Auto-Pistol back? Vote on www.edgegamers.us" in game; maybe we might get more recruits or raise awareness to the site.

I tried that with all the numbers on kalt. maybe on strand, but on kalt, it is gone.

I just hate those two guns...I guess carbine's ok, but ughh, I hate the other one.
