modern warfare 2 and battlefield bad company 2

well i saved up enough money and i am try to decide which one to get on steam, and when will modern warfare 2's price go down?

It all depends on preference.

If you want close FPS action, get MW2

If you want bigger playing fields, vehicles, etc. get BC2.

Oh, and no one knows when MW2 will get cheaper. I say get BC2 now and participate in the beta.

MW2 keeps selling out man, so it might be awhile until it goes down.. i play it on xbox 360. i would say get bc2 because i cant wait for it to come out man it will be awesome

i played the beta of BF2 yesterday at my friend's house. its the best game in the world. my friend and i were actually screaming every single kill i got becuase its so epic i say BF2

i have MW2 and i can honestly say i would much rather play a game like BC2. I loved that BF1942 thing they put out and i loved BF2 with a raging passion, so maybe i'm a little bias

both are great games, but for now i think i would get BC2 is i were you and then save up for MW2

Because it's cheaper, so 10 dollars could go towards McDonalds or shaving cream, etc. etc. And the game, like Bandgeek says, is epic. Even though it is only a beta so far, it's still amazingly intense. With MW2 you have to deal with the inevitable hackers/noob shotguns/tubers/campers.

I agree with the general consensous here and say that BC2 is a better choice. I work at Hastings (www.gohastings.com) and have some expirence with what people think/say about games. I myself loved MW2 - YES I SAID IT. and I liked BC2 that much more (employees got to play the other day) so yes

BAD COMPANY 2!

Both are great games. If you want a fast pace game go with MW2. If you want more of a semi fast pace game with more team work go with BC2.

The thing about it I wish it was a bit more team work orientated like it was in the other BF series games. Team leaders with a commander but its only beta so time will tell.

PS: It's still a freaking fun game!

On another note the if pricing is a problem go with BC2 for it is 10 bucks cheaper then MW2. I don't think they will be dropping the price of MW2 any time soon because of the massive numbers it is selling at the price range it is set at right now. Even MW1 is still priced high for a game that already has a sequel too.

hmmmm yep i guess it would depend on your tastes Lifty, they might look similar but play quite differently in general, the battlefield franchise in general is more geared to squads and playing as a team toward common objectives while the whole COD: MW thing is more just run and gun, both have their pros and cons but i prefer the battlefield thing with its cap and defend, awesome vehicles you can hop in and the character classes which actually have to be used effectively to win.

BC2 is pure awesome. Try BC2's Beta, just remember it's a beta so there's a few issues.

It took 2 years ( I think)? for MW1 to have a sale.

I REALLY do not see a MW2 sale 'til ... EVER really lol. Maybe 5 Years. Just a guess.

ive been playing BC2 on 360 non-stop.. im a huge fan of mw2 and bc series.. but honestly i hate to say it, but i think BC2 will be the number 1 game faster than you can blink your eyes.. it is that amazing

mw2 is awesome for fast gameplay, bc2 has more things you do in it(vehicles, weapons, etc..)
