that is why i dont ever go with a isp that caps your usage per month cause i know that i would go over my server alone has transfered 286gb of data last month than just add my other computers usage to that and you got a fair amount

Its the best ISP in my area. I've downloaded a lot this month and i know it. Its just from my ps3 mostly, ive gotten a few demos on it, and ive downloaded some videos on my pc.
Im not really concerned, its nothing major. I can continue normally.
Yeah, I've started to get that recently. We went over our limit for two months so my dad decided to upgrade to the 10Mb/s download and 1Mb/s upload for about $24 more per month. The limit is higher.
Wish I could help you in this matter Buddy, if you can afford to go up and are planning to download a lot then it will make a good investment. I just have never been capped before and my internet is great so I don't plan on switching..
I pay $50 a month for a ~2 mbps/down and a 1 mbps/up with no cap. Its the best I can get, I roughly get about 100-200 kb/s download speed and upload at about 100 kb/s.
Its the best stuff I can get out here, I can easily ping 40s while in the server though so I'm happy.
Comcast does have one but it takes a lot to reach it.
Never, ever, ever get Hughesnet. 200MB a day and they cut your connection down to slower than dial-up if you go over. Turns out to be around 6GB's a month for $60 and $500 installation fees.
Ouch, don't have a cap over here atm. We use comcast and so far its been good besides a few instances when my service went down and the techs on the phone could not help .
Pretty irritating when the people cant do there own job and i have to do it for em.
