technically.... -10% isnt mathematically possible. you cant have a negative percentage. and listen to london... he's got a point. why waste a server. thats money going to waste to upkeep a server that no one uses. if not anzio do a different map. as long as people will play it.

Even in this thread, there's not a consistent vote for one specific server. But I can tell you that we've had Anzio, Argentan, Caen, and Palermo in the past.

We've given Argentan THREE chances in the past, and the server failed by staying empty most of the time. Palermo was a ghost town. Anzio the same way. Caen was so huge that it was pointless to try seeding it - and the lag/rubberbanding issue was insane. We've had rotation servers, orange maps, and nothing has stuck. It was hard for us to just get Flash to stay full - I can remember how excited I was that we had a Flash server, so I stayed on it all night long with Tech Sgt. Starbuck. (YES, we actually strayed away from our Donner!)

The things is, folks, that unless YOU are willing to put in the HOURS it takes to build up a server, it's pointless to complain that we don't have that server already set up for you. It costs money to launch a server, and it's such a waste to see that server wither and die because those who clamored for it didn't do their part by playing on it.

How about people show up for the GunGame events that we have (occasionally on Wild Card Night) and we go from there? We got the plugin set up on the Events Server, but the only time people pack it full is for realism night. As a matter of fact, the only GunGame event that I remember being full was after a clan meeting. It's a lot of fun, and we love to do different events. But you can't really do a 4v4 GunGame, it takes the fun out of it. You need 10v10 for a great time. That's our problem.

And no, we aren't going to have a realism server. Might as well just get that out now. It's great that St0rmy has taken it to where it is and I'm glad for that (*resists urge to post Kanye West picture *), but we're not a realism clan.

As Fluffy said, we need to support what we have. Right now, DoD has more servers than ANY OTHER DIVISION. Sniper is still up and running, and has picked back up a bit lately. The 24/7s are doing pretty well overall; Colmar is where we need to get. Keep your eyes peeled for another stress test in the very near future on there, as it is being tweaked, and then we will put a big effort into populating that once it's A-OK.

We're the #1 clan on GameTracker; three of the top 10 DoD:S servers run Colmar. We've got the capacity to beat them and take the title, on any server that we want, at any time. Let's get to it.

Say what you like about the Dod's maps they do not equal the old dod maps. I have now started to play the old dod with sturmbots in my spare time and it is fun and brings back those happy memories of Caen , Jagd ,etc
