A Reminder about admin chat

[LaUgHiNgStOcK]

Hey guys,

So recently we've been getting a lot of new members, so i thought this would be a good time to remind you all about admin chat. If you see a player doing something that's against our rules, you can talk directly to any and all admins that are on the servers by pressing u@ then typing your message.

I know that the rules our servers live by are reasons we all joined eGO, and we all feel a need to help enforce them, which i love. But for serious issues, the admin chat is the best way to get an admins attention directed towards a trouble maker/troll.

So next time you see a troll, do a u@ and BAM, troll gone. Anyhoo... it's always a blast playing with you guys, and I look forward to knifing you... i mean playing with you in the future.

Great post, Angry Arab. A lot of new members don't know how to contact admins right in the server.

Thanks for reminding them!

[Soul_of_a_Sinner]

and there is no need for a million members to yell out language, or something like that when 9/10 admins see it, and if they dont, admin chat is the way to go

[BokkChoi]

He forgot to add this. Please don't use admin chat just to talk to us. Usually there are a lot of things going on in admin chat and someone coming in and saying "Hey guys how's it going?" or "I just beat Mass Effect 2 on my 360!" can be troublesome, and annoying. But otherwise great post. Perfect timing too!

and this thread stumps mine huh? Hacks.

KR, what he means by admin chat is sending a message directly to admins without everyone on the server seeing your message, it goes to admins only. For instance, this can be helpful if there are no admins on your team, the only admin is on the other team and some knuklehead on your team is mic spamming or cussing like a boy scout gone bad (didn't want to offend any sailors!!!). There's no way the admin can know about it so send him/her a message by using team chat@ message (you must have space between the @ and your message or it will not work)

This is also helpful if the admin is one of the last ones alive as is usually the case with me because I am that good!!(brushes left shoulder, brushes right shoulder lol j/k j/k), he or she will still see your message.

Next time you are in the server, try it out, let the admin know you are just testing and ask him/her to verify that they recieved it.

Hope this helps KR
