Because there has been some confusion lately as to what the Personnel Service Center's (PSC) responsibility in EdgeGamers is, I thought I'd post a brief description.
The PSC team welcomes new recruits to eGO - ALL of eGO, not just a particular division. New members get an understanding from the beginning that we are all one big family, not just a group of divisions that don't interact in any way. The PSC combs though many applications, over 471 in just the last month, in a very timely manner, making sure new members meet up to eGO standards using a detailed checklist. Some items they check for are whether the person has been banned in the past or if their name meets eGO criteria.
Since the PSC has a detailed list of who applies to join and who refers them, they are also able to award achievements to you for certain numbers of new sign ups. Check the "EdgeGamers PSC Achievements" section of the Member Medals located here ----> http://edgegamers.org/forums/awards.php
Some ask, "Are PSC members supposed to recruit?". The answer is YES. Why? Because they are members of eGO just like you. Everyone in eGO should be recruiting.
On the subject of new signups; here's a breakdown of application numbers for each division, starting Jan 12, 2010 though today:
I think it's time for everyone to pick the brains of our CSS leadership to find out how they achieve such amazing numbers of new recruits and thank the PSC for the hard work they have volunteered to do for all of us.
