Need a little Advice.

Well, Lately, I have been looking into building a computer, and have selected a few of each parts that I keep looking at closer and closer, but I am not sure what Motherboard I should get, I have looked around on newegg.com and some of the comments are bad and some are really good, making me wonder about it.
I am looking for one under $200 If possible.

So if you could post a few links to good motherboards I would highly appreciate it

I would go with one of these two:

eVGA 680i (If you want SLI): $114

Both support all the new chips and everything. The first one is if your gonna go SLI second one is if you are not.

If you can, get a mob with at least one pci-e or just pci as they allow you to get the newest and most powerful cards in your rig

I'd advise NOT listen to the weirdos on Newegg, unless of course it's something about a defect, or it catching on fire.

So, I'd suggest you go with the eVGA 680i mobo, a piece of art it is.

you are going about this backwards.

Pick which brand of processor you want.
Then pick a specific processor
Then pick some motherboards that are compatible with that brand.
Then pick a video card brand
Then find a few that are compatible with the FSB and whos chipsets run well with your videocard brand.
Then read the reviews of the remaining motherboards and benchmarks, and BAM now you have a motherboard.

I'm looking to build an Intel Quad core rig with a SLi enabled mobo...ATI and nVidia are close in comparison but nVidia cards, in my opinion, are less glitchy. So if you look at it this way if you're a gamer, you go...

1. Video card
2. Processor
3. Mobo
