counter strike source help

so when ever i join a server its fine, but when i change maps it lags and i have to a.t+ctrl+del to get out and restart my game. any one know why this happens?

Is this limited to eGO servers or servers in general?
Is your computer fast enough to play CSS?

My initial thought is that maybe your computer is having troubles keeping connection with the server, erroring your game. This could be caused by Antivirus with high limitations, etc.

no not just ego servers
yeah i think its fast enough 3.1ghz dual core
and ive been using the same anti virus for years and i dont think thats the problem

make sure you have the latest dxlevel for css. Or just going on steam, right click /counter-strike:source/local files/set luanced options/and add -dxlevel 81 or -dxlevel 90.
