The REAL reason everyone hates recon

Now THIS is why I love the Recon, the sniper class of BC2.

It is a SNIPER, not a guy running around quickscoping. Sure you can do that too in BC2, but to a limit.

Long range shots weeeeeee. And if you are dumb enough to stay put without cover, prepare to get shot in the head.

Wish I could take screenies and videos, but Im too lazy and I totally forget in the heat of the moment. Played Recon for the first time today! Made some pretty sick headshots like the video, with bullet drop and everything, one of I could just see the very tip top of a head! I was pretty proud of myself! You dont have to believe me, all I need is my own personal satisfaction! Haha! I think I might come to like recon!

hes alright. Its much easier when you have as nice a connection as he does. I bet he has a ping of 20 from the time between shots and registration.

The reason he is so good because the skills he uses at the shooting range in real life is what makes him so good ingame.

QFT Shooting in RL and shooting in a game are completely different, and the skill sets are different (i.e. breath control, trigger control, wind compensation and such versus an arbitrary bullet drop and snap reflexes.) In RL I am a much better shot than in the game lol. Sad but true.

I brought this over from MW2, and it's been working great for me..even though I'm playing at an unbearable 10 fps. Getting a new card soon anyways

All i do is pretty much play recon, but i do contribute to the team, like throwing motion sensors around a bomb site or what not and actually attempting to destroy or defend them..

to tell the truth those shots werent that amazing, ive made some pretty impressive long range shots some times, but most of the time im fairly close up.

How does he do it? This is why I like to run around like a spaz a lot , because people like him pick you off if you don't.
