Limited Edition & Regular Edition??

I purchased my BC2 yesterday, the day after the Limited Edition offer, and was wondering that those 6 Limited Edition items can still be obtained through hard work on the Battlefield as level-up unlocks on a regular edition?

I doubt it. I mean it would defeat the point of having a limited edition(If I am understanding what you are saying correctly.) That is like having the veteran rewards to anyone who got limited edition and [x] rank. It defeats the whole special point.

You say that but I'm certain that at least 3 of them are "earnable" in game so...

Yeah, I think all of them are earn able in game, some of them you just have to get to a really high level to do so

You can get the unlocks but you cant get the limited edition maps

Aside from the M1911 and the Vehicle alt fire i dont use any of them.
And yes you can unlock them as you rank up, even if you have limited edition it still unlocks them lol.

All limited edition unlocks are available to non-limited edition purchasers, they are easily earned just by leveling up. Theres nothing that Limited edition buyers got that cannot be obtained through normal play, only ones effected are Console buyers who buy the game used instead of new.

New console copies come with one VIP code to download new content (i.e. mappacks) for free, that code is linked with their EA account. So if you bought a used copy that already had their VIP code validated then you would have to purchase a new VIP code for $15. Its EA's attempt to stifle the trading-in of used games since they obtain zero profit from the reselling of console games.

I tought that only limited edition had access to the squad rush ?

Nope, squad rush is available to all players on PC.

Consoles have to unlock it or if purchased from Gamespot could play it early with their promo code.

The only plus to the limited edition was that you got them at the start before anyone else unlocked them, thats about it though. I know it seems kinda pointless but its supposedly supposed to give you an edge from the start. It obviously didn't work for me lol!

Mine was limited version too but never got extra unlocks in the beginning. I had to rank up to unlock myself dice or ea failed.

Yea as everyone has been saying, you can unlock all the items at some point that you get with the Limited Edition. The vehicle alt fire is pretty handy to have at the beginning though, as it is the last vehicle unlock. I used it all the time before I actually unlocked it through points.
