um i need some help with css

ok i have been playing for on the =(e)= servers for atleast a year and now all of a sudden it keeps kicking me saying that my convar dxlevel is 70 and it needs to be atleast 80

To set the DX level for CS:S, please do this.
1. Right click CS:S and select Properties.
2. Make sure your on the General Tab
3. Click Set Launch options.
4. Type -dx9 in the box and press ok.
5. Launch CS:S normally.
6. If this does not work, exit the game and repeat same steps as above, except use -dx95.
7. Launch CS:S normally.

well it didnt work but i now know it says convar mat_dxlevel

Have you ever used any automated cheating programs like auto headshot or however they work on the account that you're getting this error on?

In ANY Steam game?
On any server, not just eGO's servers.

The reason I am asking is because I am searching Google and the only people to seem to get this problem is those that used hacking programs in the past.

Is it ALL servers or just eGO's?

EDIT1:

When it says "Must be greater than or equal to "70"", it's referring you must have the effects of DirectX 7 or higher enabled to play the game, so 80 is Directx 8 effects and so on. Check that you don't different mat_dxlevel set in your config.cfg or autoexec.cfg files

EDIT2: Please list your video card and DirectX version.

Also, have you used any FPS boosting programs?

The reason you're getting kicked is because you could have a serious advantage over other players, try updating your DirectX and/or video card drivers.

EDIT2: Try typing "mat_dxlevel 90" in console to set it back.

NOTE: When trying the above, your game MAY freeze, it's less likely though. However, if it does, I will write you an "autoexec.cfg" file.

ok i have never cheated or used any form of fps boosting b4and its only on the css ego jail server and trust me there is no way in hell my comp is better than any body elses lol

lol i fixed lol but thanks and for future refrence the the command to fix it is mat_dxlevel 90

I mentioned that in my third edit I mistakingly put 2 for:
