wtf is that? a transformer? anyways, I also forgot to mention that razer has a nice guide on their website that will tell you all you need to know about mice and gaming. for examples: dpi, polling rate, different grip styles (palm, claw, etc)

I suggest you check it out to gain a better understanding of mice and their features - this will be able to help you decide on which mouse to buy

I have three mice that I am currently carrying with me. As well as two laptops. (one work lappy)

1) Microsoft Arc. This is not a gaming mouse. I do not recommend it. Feels too light, and no real way to grip it. Does not feel too good to play with.

2) Logitech MX Revolution. This is the old model that was discontinued. There was a problem with it in which I cannot use the side buttons to talk in TF2. All people would hear was static and feedback for some reason. This mouse feels really good and I wish that it didn't have that issue. The Dongle was also very long and I was afraid that sometimes I would accidently snap it off.

3) Microsoft Sidewinder X8. This mouse is very similar to my wired original MS Sidewinder at home. I do like how the feel of this is, even though it seems a bit big, but I think I'm just use to the sidewinder design and feel of it. Reminds me of home. I think I'm going to leave this cordless model at home and bring the old version out. It's quiet troublesome to actually bring the wireless receiver since it's big. Big because it contains the wire that is rolled up in there as well as additional mouse feet inside. (Teflon coated?) My only wish was that the receiver was smaller or travel size just like the Arc. *sigh* I'm still out hunting for the perfect mouse for my Alienware m15x.

I have a Razer Diamondback (green) mouse which ive had for like 2-3 years now. Still works like a charm. The bottom led doesnt work where the lazer is, but nonetheless it still works. Thats all that matters. Lil bulkier than my last mouse, but I quickly got used to it. Alot better than my previous Logitech mouse when it comes to gaming.

Razer is unreliable and over-rated. Have had multiple Razer mice that have broken on me and have really not been that great in the first place.

I have Razer Lachesis and I absolutely love it, in case u fear that it's going to break, I did get 2 years warranty for it so no worries.

Theres no coming back once you test Razer.

From someone with an MX518, get a G500. Same mouse but better, what cannot be said for the MX518 -> G5 jump.

It just doesn't get any better as far as the number of buttons go, and the DPI/response is equal to everything else.

I went with the another Razer Deathadder 3500 I just got it and can remember my old one. Yea razer does make good stuff.
