Give warnings?

Hi everyone! Now i wanted to ask a question. If there are no admins on the server, and a player is being rude, freekilling, breaking barricades, etc. are e's allowed to give some sort of warning?

If an admin is on the server, are e's allowed to do so anyway?

If an admin is present, let the admins warn the player.

An e should not be warning players, but if someone is causing trouble, message an admin on Steam

best thing to do if there is no admins on the server, add them on your friends list and then get them on the server

I've warned people on places like the jail server when no admin is around.. usually its just something quick, like, Watch the language. If it continues i get an admin.

Your best bet is to always have ventrilo running, or have admins on your friends list

the only servers that rarely got admins is Office and Zombie.....

Its been answered, but a warning is okay if no admins are present.
Add some to your friends list, or boot up ventrilo.
Both are equally effective ways to get an admin into the server to deal with your problem player.

If for some reason you cant get in contact with one and the player is especially a pain (excessive swearing, racism, hacks, ect) then get thier steam ID and fill out a ban request.
However thats only in those more explicit scenarios.

its a sticky in the information center just off general forums - it looks pretty sloppy when an e warns just in regular chat, but an admin still needs to warn over admin chat to make it official and then they feel they were warned twice

I think a lot of people here have given you some great answers.

In the end, befriending admins via steam is a great resource. When the server gets a little out of control it is great to have someone to get help from. If no admins are online and you do choose to warn please do so respectfully and politely.
