I know i just registered here and all and that this is an old thread but i just felt the need to reply to your post to start off my stay here, I'm not trying to be mean to you or anything, but just because YOU have played video games since you were 5 or 6 and it hasn't affected you isn't really a great or whole valid response to the topic at hand, you have to realize everybody is different, some people may not be affected by games, like you, and some people may be highly affected by them such as the 4 year old child Simon is talking about, when discussing a topic that makes you evaluate something that involves the whole world of people, since video games are available to everybody in every part of the world, you have to take in account that you are in fact evaluating more than just yourself and have to base your opinion on that, if you just base it on how it affected only you, you're not really contributing a valid response to the topic at hand =/
I agree exactly with what Simon said, children that start playing violent video games, or, i know this is a little irrelevant to the topic since it's not games, but has the same outcome, outrageous rap music videos and music with lyrics they shouldn't be listening to like the, excuse my language for saying this but, "Slutty" female singer's and "very vulgar" male singer's out there that are coming up out of the blue nowadays, it changes children's behavior very much and makes them rude, insulting, they start disobeying their parents, using foul language, doing things they shouldn't behind their parents backs, all in all i agree in whole with Simon.
