Making an Image

Hey, I was wondering if there was a program that let you have transparent backgrounds, besides photoshop? <<Can't get itD::crying:
Are there any ones that I could do, I'm making a map, and I want transparent backgrounds so its not just blocking the rest of the textures of the map

paint.net! Its the simplest and easiest thing to use after PS.

or GIMP. You can select on certain image types to not save background color.

www.getpaint.net lets you do that! You can have multiple layers! Just have text on one and then delete the background layer.

Yeah Paint.net is 60 times better than GIMP, it's almost photoshop without the almost photoshop price.
