Yeah I couldn't do much with Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory online anyways, the 3 or 4 people that constantly played it were not very sympathetic to us newer players.

First you take away my abilities to play my hacked 360 on your network and now you take away my original xbox!!! Where will you stop, i suppose you will next try and monopolize operating systems for computers???! DAMN YOU MICROSOFT!

miss my old xbox..
halo was fun in teh good ol days =D lol but meh i haven't touched halo2 or my original xbox in years =/ so im not to upset about it hell my xbox360 right now is serving as a base for a tower of dvd's
Im a huge pc gamer lol so i usually only touch my 360 if something happens to my pc or if a good 360 exclusive comes out and since i have two pc's capable of gaming now chances of both going down at once is slim

It's because it's costing them money to keep up the original xbox live, and not enough people are paying for it.
You really think thats the issue?
I am 200% sure Microsoft isn't losing money for keeping up old Xbox live. Its the fact that they are pushing old owners to buy their newer system and the newest Halo games.

Exactly. Its all about the profit for the big businesses like Microsoft & Sony. Right now im trying to work on getting a Playstation 3 20gb. After I get 1, ill upgrade the hard drive so itll be like getting a brand new Playstation 3.
Well its time to put the XBox back in its original box and tucked into my closet next to all my other systems that I rarely touch anymore.
I will miss it, but for some reason PC games are more entertaining to me at the moment
I totally hear ya. Besides, I rarely played on my Xbox anyways. Feel bad that my mom spent so much $$ on that console. I will definitely tuck it away so that in the future, itll be worth some $$ (doubt very much, but still). Ive always been a bigger PC gaming fan. I do enjoy the occasional console game tho, esp racing. I enjoy racing games on both console & PC.
