I've actually never been able to make it through a Uwe Boll movie. I've tried to get through BloodRayne and Alone in the Dark, but I couldn't. They were just to bad for me to actually sit through.
Haven't seen it yet.

Title: The Men Who Stare at Goats

Story: During the 1980's the US army engaged in experiments to create soldiers with psychic super powers, supposed warrior monks.
Review: I don't know how much of this movie is actually true, but considering how ridiculous all this is and the fact that this took place during the cold war...chances are is that it's pretty true. In this movie we follow Bob Wilton, a journalist who tells a crazy gonzoesque tale of how he came across an ex-soldier who was part of the above mentioned project. The film is billed as a comedy, but wasn't particularly funny. Still it kept me entertained from start to finish.

Story: A man wakes up in a hotel bathtub with amnesia and receives a phone call from a man who tells him to run.
Review: This is the film that makes me so sad to see films like IRobot and The Knowing, because it shows just how much talent Proyas has in him. The tales is brilliant told and the acting is really well done. I have no complaint with this film other than at times the film tries to out CGI it's budget and technical capabilities.

Yeah, it looks a bit like the kind of film that Scream was parodying.
ya the 1st time i saw this film, i really enjoyed how dark & twisted it was. its 1 of the few flicks that i still enjoy. cant believe that its as old as it is.

Story: A man attempts to bring down an unjust system after one of the murderers of his family got off on a light sentence.
Review: I like Gerard Butler, he is like Russell Crowe except willing to cheesy action films. So this film should have been prefect for him...which I guess it is, but that doesn't necessary make it a good movie. This is the kind of film that takes zero time to set up the characters and delves straight into the action. Which, isn't great considering the premise of the film pits Jamie Fox and Gerard Butler against each other. A premise that would benefit from some more fully formed characters. The basic formula of the film is there is an action set piece followed by some dialog to set up the next action set piece. It's an alright formula and for the most part works for this film, but near the end both the the story and the action falls flat on it's face.

Review: I hated this movie, it's bland and goes basically no where. The plot is terribly predictable, the action is detached and uninteresting. The characters are poorly written and aren't exactly fleshed out. Basically you should go see I, Robot instead of this film.

Ya know, its sad when the guy that creates a thread now refers to previous movies that hes reviewed because of how many movies that hes actually reviewed. Just curious Sexy, how far into your list of movies have you gotten into? I remember you saying that youve seen like a couple hundred, but couldnt remember the round figure.

You should do "Get Him to the Greek" whenever it's released on DVD. Everyone in the theater including me, couldn't breath because we were laughing so hard.

lol, I never had a list. I'm just reviewing whatever I remember seeing. I guesstimated that I saw maybe 700 movies, but judging how this is going I think I over estimated by hundred or so films

I'm afraid to report that I haven't seen any of John Waters' films.
I haven't even heard of Dancer in the Dark, but seeing that it's a musical directed by Lars Von Trier and starring Bj?rk, I have to say...wtf?
I haven't seen it. I tend to avoid watch holocaust films, you know...cus they're depressing as hell.
Battlefield Earth.....another horrible movie
I'll leave Battlefield earth for one of the more monumental reviews. Like review 500.
