Cant join Server

I've been playing on your Servers for a while now, and brother just got Tf2 and wanted to play on the same server I was on. Every time he tries to join I get disconnected and Vice versa. We both go through the same router, so that is probably the problem(?).

Anyone know how to fix it so we both can play on the server at the same time?

You run different Steam Accs correct?

I'm going to bet that it is because for some reason your PC's have the same IP address, although someone more experienced in the field can confirm or deny this and tell you how to fix this.

Would forwarding the router's ports do anything? Dunno much about that, but I've read the it does fix problems with 2 PCs joining from the same router.

idk you might get more replies in the technical help department since more people with knowledge like this would be floating around those parts and since its a steam game it would probably happen in all steam games rather than just tf2

Okay, I posted in your other thread too, but here is what you can try. Only one of you needs to do this. Go to your steam games list > TF2 > Properties > Launch options. And in that little line type "+clientport 27032" without the "". That should fix it. Now who ever changes their client port number, their map/server file downloading will go slower.

Yeah, plus me and my brother play on the same router and had that problem for a year .
