Snake

Anyone want to tell me what type of snake this is?
I found is in my pool skimmer and this thing was trying to bite me.
It was crazy. Also i live in north Carolina.

i got a shovel and scooped it up and throw it away
and those crickets was from the skimmer
we haven't been in the pool for awhile

Well it is definately not a Rattler.. I have killed one of those. We were camping and playing mini golf and it was hiding in the hole.. My niece went to pick it up and ran screaming.. it came and out finally i dropped a rock on its head. But yeah, doesnt look like any snake I have seen before. CONGRATULATIONS, your a millionair, you discovered a new type of snake.

Idk what kinda snake that is, but it most definately looks poisonous. The bright colors on its back are a warning. Also its head is shaped like a triangle, so i think its related to asps, which are poisonous.
