Still working on GTO- so far, all I have to say is its completely different from what I expected, yet lovable all the same, and very, very funny.

As to current ongoing shows- I'm disappointed in the start of the 2011 anime season. We have-

Rio: Rainbow Gate- basically pure fanservice and ecchi, with some sort of terrible, convoluted and unfathomable plot tossed in and extremely over-the-top card games. Half of me says its passable for its fanservice, the other half is still trying to figure out what the hell just happened. The last little sliver is trying to justify the show- failing, but perhaps the next episode will make more sense.

Infinite Stratos- Meh. I was hoping for a good harem/ecchi/comedy (such as, say, Sekirei) {this show promised it ALL- ecchi, harem, mecha, comedy, romance), and I'm semi-disappointed. The beginning was a bit too much overt CGI for my tastes (I prefer the Gundam mecha animation compared to this- this is too reminiscent of Linebarrel); the first episode launches itself way into the story {missing the entire background, from the examination [unless that brief fight scene was supposed to be it], how he got into the IS, et.al.et.al.}, and turns a once great voice actress (Yukana- best known as Full Metal Panic's Tessa, Code Geass' CC, Black Cat's Rinslet, and I believe Sekirei's Kazehana) into a terrible one (Olcott's voice acting is terrible- reminds me more of Strawberryfield from Kamen no Maid Guy than anything else)~ it does, however, redeem itself. When I returned to the show later this evening, I must admit that the comedy was present, and worked. Harem? Check. Ecchi? Check. Comedy? Check. Romance? Half-check. The premise was finally starting to shine through, and so long as the mecha action is ironed out (the rest is mostly solid) I'm interested i seeing how this show continues. Just please, please, let this show not tank like Rio: Rainbow Gate has IMHO.

Freezing- finally, the show I was most excited for! Truly a good showing in its first episode- action, ecchi, non-convoluted and understandable plot (that's actually kinda cool), and for an additional 1 internets, its uncensored (Hyakka Ryouran anyone? You can't tell me that show didn't bother you with its inkblots- they were totally out of place, even in the Okami-esque art style, not to mention if you go the route of overt ecchi {instead of suggestive/provocative} you really shouldn't be censoring. Just go suggestive if you're going to do that). Anyways, this show is my favorite, and will remain the only truly promising show of this season until IS gets into gear.

The remaining new shows I haven't watched, or will not watch (Starry Sky, for instance, belongs on the latter list), but I'll get around to it. Questions/Comments/Whatever?

I just got back into anime, watching One Piece from multiple friends recommendations. I love it, the action is ok, but it makes me laugh hard.

Its quite good- then it dies off extremely quickly after season 2 or 3, much like Naruto/Bleach.

The second-to-last batch of 2011's anime season starters were released today (source), and I've watched/am watching them all. Lets start off with the first one, a personal favorite-

Kore Wa Zombie Desuka?
- Starts as a slow, nonchalant narrative- yet before the opening even plays, it already takes on a quite humorous overtone. The necromancer is great, love her attitude and method of communication; the magical girl... well, she's your stereotypical "elitist" loli, but I find her tolerable, especially since she wields a chainsaw. Now, plot wise- its good, its solid, think Baka no Test to Shoukanjuu. Definitely recommend this show based on its first episode.

I'll be watching the remaining ones when I get the chance over the course of the day, and editing this post.

I plan on watching Gosick, Infinite Stratos, and Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? this season. Need something to do besides play TF2 all day. However, the real anime I'm waiting for is Fractale :D.
A person is even willing to bet his entire career on Fractale, plus I read a couple manga series before I heard the anime was underway and loved it. It's a fantasy setting in a futuristic world. I look forward to it.

Also about Tower of God, yeah it's gaining more and more fame recently ^^ Really becoming one of the most read manhwa out there.

i watched that yesterday (plus Starry Sky), it was hilarious (and disturbing).

Indeed, if referring to Zombie- so disturbing it became hilarious. Starry Sky, on the other hand, is just opposite of what I look for in a "harem" type situation, so i'm skipping it.

First half of death note was amazing second half.....not so much.

Naruto and Fairy Tail are the only ones i am into right now.

It's been awhile since I posted any reviews. I tend to watch a lot of anime. (I do a lot of cardio treadmill, and watch anime while i do it, to keep from getting bored.)

Title: Air Master

Link: http://www.animeseason.com/air-master/

27 episodes.

Plot: The main char is a 16 year old female. She use to be an Olympian gymnast, who now gets into street fights.

I actually really liked this one. They didn't draw the main char as some hot chick. Although very tall for a female, she is actually rather comely. (Well, actually, when she is fighting, her looks change slightly. Just subtle stuff, a glint in her eyes, an upturn of the lips. She looks good then),

The character development is pretty good and for the most part, the fighting is believable. The very first episode is a bit outlandish, with all the "high" jumping and stuff. After that, the creators settled down.

I did however feel that the last episode was a bit rushed.

If your looking for something quick (only 27 episodes, this is an ok one).

Title: Asu no Yoichi!

Link: http://www.animeseason.com/asu-no-yoichi/

Episodes: 12

Plot: Boy raised in mountains by martial arts father. Can't learn anymore from father. Sent to city to learn about life.

Nothing original about this one. Probably why it only lasted 12 episodes. I saw to much of other shows hinted at this one. I saw bits of Kenshin (samurai X), Narato, and Soul Eater in some of the char's.

So, about 3 episodes have been released for all of 2011's season-starting shows. Time for a few, very short comments.

Zombie desu? - This show... just gets better and better. I'm not kidding when I say it may just have too much win to contain. One of the few must watch shows of 2011.

Freezing - It is borderline anime, broaching on hentai. Some seriously messed up moments in it, but the show has (and is realizing) [its] great potential. Must watch #2 of this season.

Infinite Stratos - After watching ep.3, I've decided to drop this show in its entirety. So much promise, no fulfillment whatsoever. Absolute disappointment, from current characterization to plot to the entire concept of an "IS" and its art. Nothing this show is trying to do hasn't been done before, and if anything, its been done better.

Going to catch up with other shows (Yumekui Merry, Dragon Crisis, et.al.) when I get some more time.

Fractale ep 2 sorta brought me into the whoel Ghibli esque theme. I enjoyed the setting of it but I really got hooked by episode 4! Not the twistiest of plots but still a surprise and shocker never the less. I feel Fractale is starting to live up, somewhat, to the expectations I had before. I'm at least more happy and interested then the first episode :)

I read Gintama a bit and found it pretty funny. The off beat humor is unique and the action scenes are good.

Gintama (for the first 20 ep so so that I've watched) is pretty hilarious.

Yoshi was a HILARIOUS show- I enjoyed it anyway. Now that we're bringing up old shows, I suggest Gundam Seed/Destiny + Gundam 00- alas, watching these two will kill most other mecha shows for you as they simply don't live up to the new bar that these shows set.
