manga? a day or two!? I still have 105 English dubs then another 293 subs to go! T___T

Been kinda dodging this thread like the plague. I freaking love some of the anime out there.

I would make a list of anime's I have seen but I don't have a few hours to sit here and list them...

Currently watching/ Watched recently.

Deadman Wonderland (Story is coming around. Turning out to be pretty good. The style is pretty good too)

Monster (Second time watching it. One of the best story telling out there)

Requiem for the Phantom (Story starts of meh. But gets really good the farther along you go)

Abnormal Physiology Seminar (I just don't know... But is one of the funniest anime's I have ever watched)

After I finish up a few of these series I'm moving on too...
Cromartie High School

Ya. It's really good. Bloody and gory.Decent fight scene so far. The story kinda throws you right into it but it's easy to pick up.

Kinda like Gantz in a way of the violence.

Really is a sadistic stomach turning kind of story.

Would say if you liked Gantz(manga), Egro Proxy, or Now and Then, Here and There
you will really enjoy it.

Bahh Deviating from my plan. Started up on some horror/thriller line of anime.

Just started Shiki which so far is coming along pretty good story wise. The art is crisp and the whole mood(setting) of the story is very creepy and intriguing.

Would say if you enjoy horror/mystery/thrillers. You would enjoy Shiki

Next on my horror/thriller list is Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
People tell me it is one of the best horror/Thriller anime out there... Anyone ever see it and can vouch for that saying?

On a side note...
Abnormal Physiology Seminar was the funniest anime I have ever watched... If all you knew about Japanese culture was through youtube videos... You will enjoy this show sooo much.

if you're looking for psychological/horror anime (and I'm sure we've all watched + read Gantz; if not, do it nao!), Gai Rei Zero isn't bad.
The first episode
cumulates in the death of all the introduced characters.

I have watched the following:
  • Avatar: The Last Airbender (first anime I ever watched)
  • Black Lagoon
  • Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage
  • Bleach
  • Code Geass
  • Code Geass R2
  • Cowboy Bebop
  • Death Note
  • Dragon Ball (I only got to see parts of it)
  • D. Gray-Man (currently watching)
  • Fullmetal Alchemist
  • Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
  • Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C.
  • Kekkaishi
  • Naruto
  • Naruto Shippuden
  • One Piece (currently watching)
Everything in bold I recommend.

I am looking to expand, I like having action and a story,
occasional comedy keeps me going in a series. I don't mind fillers,
but it must be dubbed because I don't watch subbed.

Gurren Lagann watch it. Soul Eater is good as well.

There is also an OVA to Black Lagoon with Roberta. It pretty much continues right where Second Barrage ends.

I'm watching D'Gray-Man too, at episode 18, so far the only thing I like about the anime is the opening theme song. Also subs are better by far than dub. I can only name a hand full of anime that sound fine dubbed, but the majority of them are really really terrible.

I've been watching the Sket Dance anime, as well as reading the manga and I gotta say this is absolutely hilarious.

After the first episode and around chapter 10 in the manga this series just gets so insanely crazy that I was pretty much laughing non stop.

And these 2 pictures just killed me right here. Basically a guy is going shopping trying to change his image and asks some people to help and this is what they came up with.
