Diablo 3 [Updated 8/01/10]
I know many of you Edge Gamer's have been patiently awaiting Diablo 3, so I decided to start a thread about it. Please do not ask me for anything other than whatever was posted on here, I can not tell you everything about the game, because I am not associated with Blizzard, and have no intention of the such in my future. With that being said, this took me around an hour to dig up, so please do not rage if I did not post what you were particularly looking for, what is posted here are the things that I find most important, the things that peaked my curiousity, and questions people asked earlier.
Remember, if what you want to know isn't here, visit www.battle.net and find it yourself.

Neither of those have been confirmed by blizzard, but they were both announced on several gaming websites; so please do not get upset if they are wrong, Blizzard is very unpredictable. :facewall:
I will try to update this if any further information is announced, but as of right now; this is all I have to offer. Remember that if you want more information on any of the new classes, bosses, etc; check out www.battle.net, or look them up on youtube.

Blizzard has completely remade all of the characters, not only creating new classes in general, including comepletely new skills; but you can now choose either a male or female from any of the new classes. Above this, they have changed the rune system, from using runes to make Runewords in items, to using Runes to upgrade your skills. How are the characters different in Diablo III?
Recently announced, Blizzard will not be using DX11 Tesselation, due to the fact that some people do not have good enough graphics cards, and they want everyone to have a chance to play. However, the graphics compaired to DiabloII will be about 50x better, however they are keeping the old high camera angle, as previously used in DiabloII.What are the graphics going to be like in DiabloIII compared to DiabloII?
Gameplay in DiabloIII will be much different, because Blizzard is adding a system which adds statpoints and skills, so newbies can be equally powerful as the pros. This will make the game alot more fair for those whom are unfamiliar with the game, prior to DiabloIII.How will gameplay, other than the characters be different?
As I previously stated, the Rune-system is going to be much different, each rune will add a custom stat to your skills. For example, you can add an attack rune to your teleport, which will make the skill agressive, or add a bounce attack to a fireball, so it riccochet's off monsters and walls, making it mobable. If skills are automatically assigned, how do I make my character more customizable?
Blizzard has announced that all classes will be equally valid at everything. This means that you will not need a tank/dps for bossing, each character will be able to solo everything which will equal out gameplay. The different classes include: Witch Doctor, Barbarian, Wizard, and Monk. For more information about the classes, visit this website. What are the different classes, and which ones the best?

Blizzard has kept players waiting for a few years now, and there has been no official release date announced on neither www.blizzard.net, or on their blog, however there are several unconfirmed theories:Does Blizzard have an official release date, yet?
