How to be a proper Warden?

First, please do not listen to what this silly division leader has to say

But on a serious note here are my suggestions:

1. If you give freedays ALWAYS be on the alert on all players in the game.
2. STs are fun to give, but choose wisely; usually tend to rebel quickly.
3. NEVER allow one person to guard an ST, at least 2 to be safe.
4. Spot who the rebellers are after playing a couple rounds.
5. NEVER stay in the open or turn your back when giving orders.
6. Finally, do not do trivia because your asking for a rebel then lol.

Other than that just have fun. Being the warden is a stressful position and that is why I usually go T. I have been warden twice I think and it takes a lot of the fun out of jail, plus I r not good at giving commands.

ST's are stupid to give, that's favoritism at its best. I honestly don't see how it's stressful, it's a game, have fun.

Well I wont ever give Trivia, only because I myself find it very boring and repetitive. Speaking of which the only way ill give out ST is if I free kill by accident.

There's not really a proper way to warden. Everyone has different styles (Most are boring tbh) but come up with your own and have fun with it. That's the thing with jail, it was a lot more enjoyable when people didn't follow the exact same itinerary (Back out of cells knifing distance, play trivia, play couch game, etc.). Try to mix things up, don't be too nice to the point that you're a push over, or too strict to the point the game isn't enjoyable for others. Jail's a roleplaying game, so don't take it seriously.

on the occasions when do in fact find yourself playing trivia

NEVER EVER IN A MILLION YEARS ASK THE QUESTION 2+2

its the reason trivia will be banned

i find trivia to be really fun when real questions are asked

not impossible ones, mind you (T's only have the mentally capacity of goldfish)


try to make it fun for the T's as well

(they rebel a lot less when they are kept entertained)

this isnt as hard to do as youd think

just play a game or two in which no one dies

then do a game which causes a massacre next

everyone can get a good laugh out of that


and remember, jail isnt always about winning

its also about having fun so enjoy yourself bro

Of course ill make it fun for the T's some - most of the time, but as I said before Trivia is repetitive so I wont be doing anything of the sort. Thanks for the heads up though and yea I'll see you in Jailbreak soon.

Be respectful, don't be TO strict, have fun with it, be creative, don't do trivia just because it's what everyone else does, do something creative maybe like Cryptex trivia or Spell it and maybe not kill the T's in like 2 minutes of the game. Make it fun for yourself and others. Oh and don't rage when you get killed, just laugh and be like yeah nice and be a good sport about it.

I play Jailbreak occasionally, but I've only been Warden once, it becoming reality only because I was the only one with a mic after a riot, and only lasting for a few seconds.

Can any of you ladies and gents give me any tips on becoming and/or being a better Warden? If you could it would be most appreciative.
