Bad Company 2 Respawn time Problem

So I've had this problem for a day now and the problem is that It takes a long time to respawn even though the countdown was over and it says ready. I guess it has to do something with my new GFX card because I just bought a new one, and I didn't have that problem on my last graphics card.

Your firewall doesn't affect respawn time at all... No idea where you got that one.


I would try re-installing, that might clear everything up. It's like the quick fix for 90% of problems

No I saw a post from another forum and it was the same problem. the guy reinstalled it and didnt do anything. I guess thats part of the 10%

Have you checked if its a frequently found bug?

You probably have AVG anti virus, theres a part of that program called resident sheild. You can either turn off resident shield before you play or just open resident shield and "add exception". Add the folders for both the actual BFBC2 game (wherever you installed it) and the settings folder "c:/User/whatever/My Documents/BFBC2".

done issue fixed.

they are fixing it in the next patch but in the mean time this works perfectly.

i had the same problem for a while then it just stopped, i dont know wat it did but doesnt bug me now, didnt do it till latest patch, but just kinda fixed itself lol

I really don't think this is a graphics card problem. I have the same lag everytime I respawn. I had no problem until they updated bc2. I think this is solely a game side problem. And I know many others that have the same problem.

Kirk you may want to re-read this thread, I already outlined what was needed to fix the issue and it worked fine for him.
