Well, I'm not getting the mouse/keyboard if I'm getting the 470. Only the 470.
Does anyone have some *newer* benchmarks that have the 5770 in it using 10.3?

The 5770 has the same number of Processing units being 800, the same as a 4870. Have you looked into the 5830 ? Newegg gas one for $215 after rebate. free shipping, leaving you with plenty of room for a new mouse and keyboard. Just weigh all the options. Below may be of some help to you.

I would highly suggest against anything that has any kind of rebate to it. Ive tried rebate 3x in the past, each time getting taken for my $$. What exactly is the price range that you're looking into for a video card? Im sure we can find some more suggestions w/o going the rebate direction. Just a lil fyi, rebates that 6-8 weeks (if not longer) to process & your not guaranteed that you will get it. Its an easy ploy to get you to spend more $$, thats all. I just dont want you to get bit in the butt like I have, thats all.

Going on down to Frys like in 20 minutes. It's about an hour away, so I'll be back later.

yes. My FRYs has like 20 eVGA 470s about 30 PNY ones and probably 20 others from various brands. They also had 480s stacked in this really cool pyramid looking thing.

Nice........i would've personally waited another like half year or less for the new cards to come out.

ATI 6 series end of this year (2nd half of 2010) and new Nvidia cards are in the works too as far as im concerned.

I highly doubt that the HD 6XXX will be out by the end of this year.

MAYBE at 5XXX refresh like a 5890
