Can someone give me a review of the Ipad? I heard it's a huge giganticitouch fail.... I'm planning to get it probably next month, but idk, any tech geeks around here?

It is a giant iTouch basically, no flash support (as i know of), and cant multi task,

waste of money imo. It looks like it is useful as a plate or something to bear down on whilst writing something.

my friend won one and shes an applholic and shes kinda disappointed with it she was hoping it would replace her laptop, i will say it is interesting but id image the effect would wear off after a while but it does have good battery life and has a pretty high quality screen good for watching movies and stuff so if u want portable entertainment then its alright but if your expecting a computer i wouldn't buy it and i think it does have flash support because you can go on youtube might be mixing up technology tho

My personal felling is, its great for Music, Movies, and the Apple Apps. I personally hate all Apple Products but this is one product i would consider buying. If you want something to game do Word or Whatnot on then stick with your Laptop.

What do you plan to use it for? If you're looking for a school computer a labtop would be better. If you want a portable media device, if you don't have a heavy iTunes library and labtop would serve just as well.

I would agree in that its definitely not a replacement for a laptop or netbook. I would highly suggest getting either an iPod nano or iPod Touch as the iPad isnt worth the $$. Its over-hyped & overpriced. Its just a bigger version of the iPod Touch in my mind. I was working late one night when I saw some guy driving & had it in his passenger seat.

Overall, if you want a really cool entertainment package that can play music, movies, & ability to read e-books, get it. If your looking for something that can do presentations, word documents, etc, & more, get yourself either a laptop or a netbook (based on your needs). The iPad is just a phase which I predict will fade quickly. I personally think Apple is trying to go after the Kindle, while so is Barnes & Noble with their "Nook" or w/e they call it, & another company came out w/ a similar device, but cant remember the name.

protip: writing in a font/text size like that doesn't help us read it better. Use something more standardized

If you want a giant iTouch, it's great. But if you want an iTouch that replaces your laptop(sorta), does flash, and all the fun things plus in tablet form, I'd wait for hp's Slate due out I believe in October.
