i'm thinking of designing a jailbreak blackmesa and as i have no idea how to use source sdk i would send the designs to someone and they could maybe build it for me (if you do you gotta say by"your name" and res1l1ent )

Well if all you supply is the designs for the mapper, the mapper(s) should get most of the credit.

Other than that the map sounds kind of cool

To be frank, they should get ALL credit if they build it. designing can take 20 mins. Making it can take 100+ hours

If they get all the credit then why should i bother making this map, that's like theft i go in as an equal partner and they steal all my work and call all of it their own when in fact it was the both of us

but your not really an equal partner if work wise its a 5% 95% spilt.
making a fully detailed map is a huge project and takes months of work.

If you have no idea how to use sourcesdk, then you should first try a basic map, like a defuse or hostage

yeah but 1 of the things i do is graphic design, i'm gonna have like 10-20 stills and a couple of floorplans

this isn't just hey you be my slave this is indeed a massive project, that's also why i want someone to help me by constructing the map, that way it is shared equally, this map won't be done for awhile and i am taking my time, i'm just looking for a couple of good hands to give me a hand l8er on

You will never see a mapper make a map for free and shove someone else's name on it

This thread isn't to bash a dude for his idea or to flame a kid for wanting some credit. He's looking for someone that's willing to hold a project and than give some credit to him for his work if the mapper is nice to. Remember guys and gals, eGO = mature community. Instead of bashing him, educate him in a polite matter on how to complete what he wants to accomplish.
