BC2, Heartbeats stopped error!

[CrazyWolf]

Does anyone know how to get rid of this problem, I keep getting kicked by Punkbuster saying Heartbeats stopped!

[TrollFace]

run pb_setup.exe and update punkbuster?

I've tried that a couple of times, I've shut down all running background programs that I can, I can't figure out whats going on.

[Korgot]

Try going C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\battlefield bad company 2\install\PunkBuster and running pbsvc_bc2. Then, click the "Test service" button and see if you get an error code.

So, no error code, even shut my firewall down and I still get punkbusted. :facewall:

Checked it out, did what it said about setting auto re-start. Have to see what happens now!

Setting that re-start didn't seem to help, but uninstalling and reinstalling for about the 5th time seems to have worked!
