How about we go back to the very old ways when we had TWO 40 slot jail servers?!?!?!? lol jk...
This idea is about as good as eating a cactus.

Agreed, maps will be made much smaller and in effect MOST jail maps would have to be remade to make it fair on Ts and CTs. Overall the 40 slot is fine. Also, won't 2 24 slots be more of a strain on the server? I mean. Dust2 already lags to death when servers are full and all. I don't think I'd like that with jail.

with 26 terrorists. Plus, you won't have as many "Baiting and Gun Planting" Counter-terrorists. After all, these are actually REAL factors in prisons today. To be honest, its not the server size that is ruining jail, its the new maps. Now, I have a lot of respect for mappers, especially since I'm terrible at it, but these new maps are killing jail. All this automation makes the CTs bored, so therefore more trivia, so they can kill the Ts themselves. The problem is that the CTs need to do something too, otherwise it fails horribly. Old school maps FTW.
I think it is the opposite. People are playing just trivia/couch game, so mappers are having to add mini-games as incentives for the CTs to try something more fun and refreshing than your generic round of jail. Go play on one of the older maps like prison_break and you hear "There's nothing to do on this map." If anything, mappers are trying to keep the fun in jail alive, because wardens aren't
Even if that is the case, which I don't think it is (some of the simplest maps are the best IMO) then not everything should be automated like it is.I think it is the opposite.
