Deadspace
Good scariness, bad repetitititiveness. Haven't been startled by a game's beginning like that since Doom 3. And I was 8 when I watched my brother play the beginning, then go back to Doom 1 (also on the disc

). Awesome weapons, bad for no pausing while checking the inventory. Seriously, you used your mining tool thing? Awesome. Good looking menu, bad for the difficulty I was playing that there was no pause to stare at it more. Good gameplay, no multiplayer. It was fun to play, but there was no multiplayer at all. Then my brother got rid of it to Gamestop.
Resident Evil 5
I liked this one, too. Still wasn't as good as RE4(got it on the Wii this time!) but it was good. Bad inventory system, good gameplay. Gameplay was the same as it is in RE4 pretty much, but the inventory system didn't make sense. See ZP review for more info, as that part was accurate(Don't actually take him seriously, and don't actually go see it). Bad singleplayer, good co-op. I couldn't have much fun singleplayer. (IMO) Good pistols, good MGs.
Overall, if you've got friends to play with(or at least a friend), choose Resident Evil 5. If you want a good, creepy shooter, try Deadspace.
Deadspace. Trust me, I won't tell you about it, then it wouldn't be scary, but the beginning...wow.
Did I just have to make you go get it and see for yourself? Sorry.
