Which one should I get. Im going to the store tomorrow to get a new game and i was deciding between these two games. Which one is more fun and possibly scarier. I have a Surround Sound Gaming Headset AKA Turtle Beaches for my PS3 so Ill be scared either way. But which one is better?

Dead Space!!!

Its creepy, chilling, and keeps you on your toes!

I played RE5 and found it not scary or or anything.

Dead space has moments where you are TRULY paranoid in REAL LIFE about whats gonna happen and when and where will it come from.

Your constantly having to hold your gun up due the monsters jump out at you when you least expect it.

Deadspace is fun, you gotta be smart and gotta be fast.
It's scary, fun and just I would so buy it over RE5.
RE5 is no different then the other RE's, same old stuff.

So I say get Deadspace, you won't be disappointed.

Deadspace is definately creepier than RE5, its you in dark ship with random noises and only a flash light, sparks and fire being your only light

RE5, you can see the parasite things coming after you, its well lit.

so if your going for creepy factor, Dead Space all the way

Deadspace, it WILL make you jump at least once. RE5 was good, but wasnt nearly as good as the rest of the series

Deadspace
Good scariness, bad repetitititiveness. Haven't been startled by a game's beginning like that since Doom 3. And I was 8 when I watched my brother play the beginning, then go back to Doom 1 (also on the disc :D). Awesome weapons, bad for no pausing while checking the inventory. Seriously, you used your mining tool thing? Awesome. Good looking menu, bad for the difficulty I was playing that there was no pause to stare at it more. Good gameplay, no multiplayer. It was fun to play, but there was no multiplayer at all. Then my brother got rid of it to Gamestop.

Resident Evil 5
I liked this one, too. Still wasn't as good as RE4(got it on the Wii this time!) but it was good. Bad inventory system, good gameplay. Gameplay was the same as it is in RE4 pretty much, but the inventory system didn't make sense. See ZP review for more info, as that part was accurate(Don't actually take him seriously, and don't actually go see it). Bad singleplayer, good co-op. I couldn't have much fun singleplayer. (IMO) Good pistols, good MGs.

Overall, if you've got friends to play with(or at least a friend), choose Resident Evil 5. If you want a good, creepy shooter, try Deadspace.

possibly scarier
Deadspace. Trust me, I won't tell you about it, then it wouldn't be scary, but the beginning...wow.
Did I just have to make you go get it and see for yourself? Sorry.

I've played both, and Dead Space is super fun. Still playing it to this day, still as creepy as hell.

Thanks for the input guys. Today I got Infamous and Dead Space. And on Wednesday I got Metal Gear Solid 4, so my PS3 is going to get a good bit of attention for a bit lol.

Glad to hear you got Dead Space. You won't be disappointed.

And sorry Ranthus, but I loved the lack of a pause while checking inventory. Once time I entered a new area and ran right over to the upgrade bench. I got pwnd. I never made that mistake again. In fact the lack of pause makes the game IMHO. It forces you to be always on edge.
