Offensive names?

I just had a question of how to address inappropriate or offensive names within the game. Just when I was playing today, there were several people with highly suggestive or offensive names, and one even had an outright disgusting one.

I do realize that you can't change your name quickly or easily like in many of the other eGO games, so to ban someone for their name seems rash, but how should we handle this situation? Just let the names slide?

Ask them the meaning first, depending on the name it can be surprising. Gangbanger can mean either someone who fights gang members or someone who you'know, gangbangs.

Of course if it is obviously obscene and offensive, ask them to leave kindly. Follow eGO rules, or don't play in our servers. Mature, responsible and fun gaming isn't a hard objective.

Ask them to change their name or leave. If they refuse, kick them. If they come back, ban them. Simple.
