Did you know that I joined eGO one year ago today? Don't believe me? Check my original application here:

Yes I'm sure some of you will be shocked that I started in the TF2 division, but it actually says a lot about our clan. We may develop these rivalries between divisions, but in the end we are free to play whatever game we want and it turns out that eGO supports a lot of the games we love anyways.
Way back when I was an e, I was fixated with the TF2 Egypt server. Mrcool and I would play for hours and it was no secret that I was only good because he was good at playing medic. I heard the call to join the Cashworks server to help fill it and boom I joined. Seconds later I was kicked from the server by GardenGrove with the message that I was promoted to eG. I was kinda shocked because I was only 3 weeks old in the clan at that point. I took my admin training with RESPAWN and had a great time and went from there. A few weeks later I was banned by RESPAWN for a minute with a message telling me to put the eGO tags on. I was really fortunate to have great members and leadership around me at that point.
What made me join the CS:S division? Well -- Don't get too upset with this answer, but it was our awesome Jail server! It's a different style of gameplay that isn't offered anywhere else. While I have evolved into a player that plays all of our servers and a lot of different games that eGO supports, that is where I was lured into the CS:S division.
One year ago I never could have imagined that I would have all the responsibilities I have now at this point. I was shocked when I was made an Advisor in February. Now I get to manage event schedules, decide on map changes, code plugins for events and I even get to influence the future of our division.
I wouldn't trade it for anything else. I've had a great time in this community thus far. It's a great community and a lot of you e's that are just starting out should use me as an example of how much you can grow to love this community in a short amount of time. You can be involved as much as you want in shaping this division and this clan. It's all up to you.
